Cinema is a matter of what’s in the frame and what’s out.
Martin Scorsese

Personal work
Cinematography is very different from videography but ironically that difference often gets unnoticed. So here's a lame end comparison: a 50k camera can look better in a cinematographer's hand than a 500k camera in a videographer's hand. Both require an skillful individual but cinematography demands deeper mastery...
You see cinematography is far from being just about the camera. It's a visual representation of a look which has been in your mind, a look which you want to bring to life, a look which just can't stay in your head and needs to come alive. It's about generating the exact emotions which you choose for your audience to feel

Color Grading

Color correction is something I must do. Color grading is something I love to do. It just puts away all the limitations and takes the creativity to a different level....

Editing

Video editing is something which requires a lot of time effort and creativity in order to create a well balanced piece of content. I love edits which goes well with the flow and consists of an engaging storyline which hooks the audience.
About me
My dream was to become a game developer, no I think it was to become a professional gamer. It could have been to become a youtuber as well, until I found filmmaking. Maybe those were not dreams but more of a short desire which wasn't strong enough to make me push myself to achieve them. It’s been over 4 years since I started my filmmaking journey and my desire for it have only gotten stronger. It’s something which comes naturally to me without forcing myself to lean towards it, doesn’t mean I don’t struggle with it. No dream is achieved without struggle, and mine is to create a film which will blow my own mind, win an Oscar maybe?, I don’t know. But an ideal life would be to create movies with passion and care while getting paid for it. As Walt Disney once said “We don’t make movies to make money, we make money to make more movies.”

Enough being philosophical, let’s cut through the chase. Hey, I am Ani, a filmmaker based out of delhi/ncr (India) available where ever the work takes. With time I was able to learn from my successes and failures, and I look forward to learn more and sharing my experiences with you!
